Pillow Fight at NYC's Union Square 2010
Check out New York City's 5th annual Pillow Fight Day! http://www.pillowfightday.com
Time: 3:00pm - 6:00pm
Location: Union Square
Street: E 14th St. & Broadway
City/Town: New York, NY
Pillows fly and teddies soar as you converge for a giant urban pillow fight! Swing and whack as you evade pillow-wielding assailants. Bring a soft pillow and wait for the signal. Pillow fight!
The Rules of the event are as follows: Please follow these guidelines to ensure a safe and fun pillow fight for everybody!
+ Soft, feather-free pillows only!
+ Swing lightly, many people will be swinging at once.
+ Do not swing at people without pillows or with cameras.
+ Remove glasses beforehand!
+ Deposit pillows in donation boxes or take them with you.
+ Pajamas welcome. (why not get a pair now at www.naughtyandnicelingerie.com)
Cleanup: Please eliminate your use of feathers. As the pillow fight grows in size, so does the mess. By participating, you are pledging to clean up twice the mess you made :)
There is a great reason behind this years pillow fight. This year, pillows will be collected and donated to a midtown no-kill animal shelter to make bedding for rescued dogs and cats. I have a soft palce in my heart for shelter (or any) animals and this is a great cause. Then after the fight, let's all get together and have more, less abusive fun!
*** AFTERPARTY: Newmindspace 5-Year Anniversary ***
The afterparty is the Newmindspace 5-Year Anniversary! They have been running free, massive pillow fights, bubble battles, subway parties, urban games and more for FIVE YEARS! More info:
