Learn what to look out for when doing a Self breast Exam
Women who examine their breasts every month are much better at spotting abnormalities that might indicate breast cancer than women who don't.
To learn what you should be on the lookout for, visit the Web site for the Susan G. Komens Breast Cancer Foundation (komen.org), which provides instructions in both English and Spanish on how to conduct a breast self-exam.
Already know someone struggling with the disease? Then call Cancer Care (1800 813-4673) and ask for its list of free (and bilingual) counseling services.
