Fashion Forms Expands The Cup Size Range

Fashion Forms have decided to extend their cup size range to fit into the larger cup size market.

In late 2013, the lingerie brand plans to introduce an E cup into the Backless Strapless Bra range, making the sizes now run from an A cup through to an E.

Their Body Sculpting Bra will also be available in an E Cup.

Hopefully more companies will also follow suit in considering larger cup sizes and more  ranges in band sizes to fit and properly support women everywhere!

The Lingerie Football League's New Attire No Longer Includes Lingerie?

The Lingerie Football League (LFL) has announced that it will cease it's lingerie-based uniforms in favor of performancewear, rebranding as the Legends Football League.

Since its launch in 2009, the LFL, which is a seven-a-side American Football league in which women played wearing lingerie, has become more than a cult hit, drawing sell-out crowds around the US and being broadcast to 85 territories around the world. It has launched international league play in Canada in 2012, with Australia and Europe to follow in 2013 and 2015 respectively.

Until now, the league uniforms have only consisted of shoulder pads, elbow pads, knee pads, garters, bras, knickers and helmets with clear plastic visors.

The league's new move is an attempt to lose the "gimmick" tag and gain credibility for the sporting prowess of its athletes.  As well as replacing the lingerie with performancewear, the logos will be redesigned to remove any sexy female figures, the shoulder pads will be redesigned to increase protection and the brand tagline will be changed from "True Fantasy Football" to "Women of the Gridiron".

I loved the idea of the LFL in its first conception, so I am a little disappointed they are losing their "gimmick" (especially since I love lingerie so much). However, I understand that it couldn't be realistic to continue play hard with undies on.  I just hope they do not lose their audience, since it was a different target market.  You may not get the same audience watching the ladies play in performance wear as you did when they played in lingerie.  I wish them the best of luck and will still watch my fabulous ladies kick some football @$$!

Going Green: Emerald is 2013's Color of the Year

According to the world's top color authority, Pantone, the most important color for 2013 will be PANTONE 17-5641 Emerald.
