Post Pregnancy Wraps To Get Mom's Hourglass Figure Back?

Lingerie label Bopeeps is collaborating with Dr. Gowri Motha to release the Gowri Wrap, a post-natal corset designed to help new mothers get their figures back after giving birth.

Available in pink and black, the Gowri Wrap is embellished with delicate lace, giving the garment a delicate, feminine feel. The wrap is inspired by African and Asian cultures where women bind their stomachs after having children to tone their abdominal muscles and lift their ribs back into their natural position, according to a press release. The pressure of the wrap also helps fill the vacuum left in the stomach after having a baby, helping restore tone and firmness.

Now this is a great idea and is available for 75 Euros across the water, however, I am wondering if some of today's great shapewear can get similar results.  Comment if you used shapewear to get your figure back after surgery.

New Bamboo Bra Specially Designed For Hospital Guests

A UK intimates entrepreneur a Hospital Bra, which is made of germ-fighting bamboo fiber.

Invented by lingerie store owner Elle Terry-Dawson, the bra’s front fastening design, lack of underwires and special padding ensures comfort during recovery and make it easier to change dressings.

Terry-Dawson was inspired to create the bra after undergoing breast surgery herself, and now hopes her design will help others. Presently, she is talking to several London physicians who are interested in offering the bra to their patients during the recovery process.

Specially treated bamboo fabrics are growing in popularity for their anti-bacterial properties, and the environmentally friendly nature of the plant itself, which grows quickly and requires little water. The bra designed by Terry-Dawson is now available online at hospitalbra.com.
