Joy Of Life promises to Banish Cellulite!

New Delhi-based company Advantage Organic Naturals will be launching a line of lingerie called Joy of Life that promises to banish cellulite! The pieces will be infused and laced with extracts of neem (a type of mahogany known in India as the “Divine Tree,” which has been used as an ingredient in skincare products to ease irritations), basil leaves a flecks of pure silver that will not only help get rid of those unsightly dimples most of us suffer from, but will also keep the wearer safe from bacterial infections.

The company is already selling T-shirt and shorts using the same natural ingredients, but is in the process of designing a range of sexy underwear for the western market.

“Joy of Life range of lingerie is made from organic cotton dyed from herbs with medicinal properties alongside coatings of natural anti-bacterial such as neem and tulsi, and also coated with Sericin, a bio-extract of silk waste which is a natural moisture control agent,” Rajiv Rai Sachdev, director of Advantage Organic Naturals, told Fibre2fashion. “We wanted to give our garments anti-bacterial and other skin-friendly treatments by using herbal dyes and without any toxic synthetic chemicals. We tried and tested many other herbal extracts in the labs of Textile Technology Department of IIT Delhi, but found the combination of neem and tulsi gave optimum results as per our expectations.”

This developement could be HUGE if it's promises are really true!

Susan Nethero: New Intimacy Store opens in NYC

Bra-fitting expert Susan Nethero has recently opened a new flagship location of her lingerie boutique Intimacy in NYC. Guests can take advantage of the 30-minute consultations offered by the expert fitters on staff — all of whom have been trained in the craft of fitting by attending “bra boot camp” — to learn their actual bra size, how the right fit will make them appear thinner and taller and what styles best complement their bodies.

The store is located at 1051 Third Ave between 62nd and 63rd Sts. Check out Intimacy’s Web site for information on the other eight locations.

Hello fellow lingerie lovers!

It's been a little over a month since I have posted on my blog. I regret doing that, but it was necessary in order to revamp and consolidate the listings in my store. Ebay is changing their fee structure and in order to take advantage of this new structure, I had to re-do almost all of my 1300 + listings and consolidate them where necessary. It worked out well, because it also makes browsing the store easier, as I only have a little over 450 listings now, versus the 1300+ items where most were in different sizes and colors of the same item. Now all those sizes and colors are included in one listing.

It is easy to search in my store, as all you have to do is put in the size in the search box to the left side of the store. For example, if you are looking to see what bras I have in a 34B, just punched in 34B in the search box and all the bras in 34B will show up! Makes shopping a lot easier in that sense.

Well, now I am off to the next project, as revamping is never truly done! I always try to keep my listing fresh! Enjoy and hope to see you shopping at Naughty and Nice Lingerie soon! Be sure to check out the new items in my store, which includes some beautiful (and rare) Plus Sized items.

Brazil's Fourth Annual National Underwear Day

In commemoration of Brazil’s Fourth Annual National Underwear Day, 50 models strutted down the streets of Brazil’s capital in nothing but their undies, catching the eye of every passerby.

On February 9th at about 2:00 p.m., the 50 models marched past one of the city’s largest malls and then went down the escalator into Brasilia’s main bus terminal, which is about as packed as Times Square.

According to a Brazilian newspaper, the event was sponsored by fashion magazine Finíssimo in celebration of Brasilia’s 50th birthday. “We had 50 models wearing intimate apparel in tones of black and gray with futuristic make-up and hair. All of this, to represent the architecture and urbanism that are branding of the city,” said Thiago Malva, executive director of Finíssimo.
